Nose

Furniture polish, rum-raisin ice cream, Christmas cake and plum sauce. Some five spice and stewed green apples and pears. Leather and old books. Subtle black bean sauce, and chocolate granola.

Palate

Medium-full. Chocolate gateau, toffee-dipped cherries, and intense ginger heat. Intensely fruity: concentrated apple, blackberry and pear pie. Some anise.

Finish

Long, on chocolate, clove and anise.
