Nose: Wow, this moves Speyside in an interesting direction, burnt ends and BBQ sauce. Griddled peaches and chilli smoked prawns in their shells. Toasted hazelnuts, the sticky edges of a good apple crumble.
Palate: Fruit and nut chocolate bars start the sweetness off, caramelised sugar and butter, then a sweet smoke, grass fires.
Finish: Everything comes together as this slowly dries with smoke and black banana.

Taster
Nose: Sticky and smoky with juicy, overripe peaches and clementine segments in a waft of grill smoke. There’s a sweet maltiness in hard caramel candy and soggy wheated cereal that’s covered in milk.
Palate: A creamy mouthfeel, with some intense smoke and spice, grilled fruits and crunchy malt.
Finish: It leaves a pretty long impression of delicate smoke, walnuts and more juicy, overripe peaches as well.
Comment: A summery Speysider, this would pair beautifully with a fruit salad.
Score: 7.8
