Tasting Notes

Nose

At first, waxy with notes of red fruit. Quite attractive. Summer berries and honey, then brown sugar, strawberry foams and vanilla marshmallows.

Palate

Warming and pleasant. Plum cake, oak spice, quite sweet but enough baking spice in there to balance out. Drier on the palate than expected given the fruity nose.\n

Finish

Drying and nutty.\n

Comment

An attractive nose, perfect for summer sipping, though hides more of a punch than expected.
