Complex, as Longmorn always is, but I wonder about the cask.

Taster

Nose: Chocolate biscuits. Coffee grounds. At the bottom of the cup. Someone smoking a cigar. Leather armchairs. The smell of newspapers.

Palate: We are in a coffee house in Cracow. The cakes are slightly stale, but we love being here.

Finish: Slight acidic sharpness. Like a fruit vodka.

Comment: Complex, as Longmorn always is, but I wonder about the cask.

Taster

Nose: Some dunnage warehouse notes with fruit cake, sultana, clove, mandarin, a hint of smoke.

Palate: Ripe, full and fruity. A sweet mid-palate: soft fruits, tinned peach. The wood is firm wood, but there's sufficient sweetness.

Finish: Orange pekoe tea.

Comment: Another fine Longmorn. Chivas, please do something with this gem.
