Overall
Score
7.8
Nose
Cola bottles, plum pudding and autumn leaves. Maraschino cherries, venison with a berry sauce. More dried floral character with water.
Palate
More of that cola bottle note, with dark fruits too and some sulphur.
Finish
More sulphur: roast beef and peanuts.
Comment
I enjoyed it, but I am sensitive to that sulphur/meaty character of certain sherry casks. That finish is a hindrance to the drink, not a help.
