Taster

Nose: Vibrant yet stately. Seville orange marmalade, treacle, dried figs and dates. Sweet blackcurrants then raisins, fino sherry, wafts of caramel.

Palate: Viscous and delicious. Port, elderberry and blackcurrant, with praline, walnuts and milk chocolate. Raisins. Turkish delight. Mince pies with maple syrup and Tiramisu.

Finish: Long; dates, raisins and cocoa. Ground almonds, nutmeg and cinnamon.

Comment: Not fully rounded but, by thunder, this is tasty. You’ll need a sweet tooth…

Taster

Nose: A dazzling mix of sweet dark fruits, blackberries, blueberries and redcurrants. Citrus notes, kumquat, lime and orange. A wave of melting sugar and butter.

Palate: Moves towards coffee grinds, latte with frothed milk and chocolate. Hints of floral, a vase of roses and hyacinths. Honeyed sweetness too.

Finish: Just keeps on giving. Packed with fruits and nut laden chocolate.

Comment: Yummy and incredibly moreish.
