Nose
Big, sweet, concentrated. Chocolate orange, cocoa, raisins, sticky toffee pudding, black fruits, Madeira-like, bitter-sweet. Needs water to calm it and show balanced oak clearly.
Palate
Big, fat, rich. Rum, raisin, kumquat peel/marmalade. Chocolate, dried peel, vanilla.
Finish
Bitter chocolate.
Comment
A bling-bling dram. Goes wonderfully with cigars! (and fur coats and gold jewellery).
