Nose

Tinned apricots, fresh red apple, pineapple yoghurt and gooseberry jam. Turmeric latte and subtle nutmeg. A little caramel.

Palate

Medium bodied. Ripe red apple, blossom honey and meringue. Then comes vanilla ice cream on fruit (grape, strawberry) flan and butter icing. Caramel cake makes an appearance, too.

Finish

Medium. The cake and icing notes bring balance to the fruits.

A very well-balanced, mature and quaffable crowd pleaser.
