Nose

To start, this reminded me of eggnog: creamy and sweet with lashing of freshly grated nutmeg. Then there’s a bit of rubber and some freshly baked sponge cake.

Palate

Big and sweet — more of that cakiness comes through. There’s some pecans and vanilla, alongside black pepper spice.

Finish

Nutty and warm. Almost becomes more intense with water.

A full and big Speyside whisky that really coats the palate.
