Nose

Immediately drawn into this whisky — tinned pineapple, a bit of wet cardboard, and some sweet fruitcake with lots of plump raisins.

Palate

Lots of toasted nuts — almonds and walnuts — but retains a good freshness alongside that with notes of honeysuckle, milk chocolate, and baked oranges.

Finish

Really lovely almond note to finish with rich dark spices and treacle.

A well-balanced and super tasty whisky — this is a delight.
