Taster

Nose: Peach ring candy, a bag of Jelly Babies, blackberry tart and subtle spearmint. Figs, cedar, black tea, and subtle musk. Chocolate-coated toffees and Terry’s Chocolate Orange.

Palate: Medium-full. Black tea with honey, blackberry jam, fresh plum, and toffee biscuit with milk chocolate chips. New York cheesecake, candied orange, and orange zest oils.

Finish: Long and oily. On toffee.

Comment: Balanced, refined, and oh-so moreish. Delightful.

Taster

Nose: Spiced Christmas biscuits, salted caramel, poached pears, and vanilla sugar. A faint whiff of wood-scented candle. Raw pizza dough, clove, and brioche bread and butter pudding.

Palate: Light-medium. Brioche, burnt raisins, 100 per cent cocoa chocolate, and tea with milk and honey. Herbaceous rosemary, and a hint of roast lamb. Caramel and sweet oat biscuits.

Finish: Medium-long, on lamb, wet mint, and some fresh apple.

Comment: Complex, with a nice balance between savoury and sweet.
