Nose: Fresh sliced Conference pears, apples with brown sugar and ripe peach. Gentle floral notes come through. Then aromatic spice: sandalwood and cinnamon.
Palate: Orchard fruits, fresh clean peach and apple set you up for a wave of sweet malt extract oiliness, then granola with dried coconut and apricot. Raisin and dark chocolate flapjacks.
Finish: Dries slowly with plenty of sweet fruit and a touch of spice.
Comment: One serious drop here, certainly has the potential to become a good friend.

Taster
Nose: Bisongrass and fresh green apple. Hay and Horlicks malt drink, followed by blossom honey with poached pears and shortcrust pastry dusted with cinnamon.
Palate: Light and silky. Plenty of that fresh fruit is joined by orange boiled sweets, lemon oil, milk-soaked oats and dried apricots.
Finish: Medium length. Remains fruity and dries slightly toward the end.
Comment: Well integrated, balanced and very enjoyable.
