Bizarre. The sweetest Glenturret I've come across and a must for liqueur lovers.
12 Years Old
Standard (Distillery or blended)
Nose: Mildly butyric. Some redeeming honey notes can't quite set the aroma back on track.
Palate: Incredibly sweet opening and middle, lashings of cane juice to dampen the malt.
Finish: Some hint of normality as a little vanilla tries to calm things a little by offering some balance.
Comment: Bizarre. The sweetest Glenturret I've come across and a must for liqueur lovers.
Nose: Light, fresh and very flowery.
Palate: Fresh dessert apple. Nutty. Cereal-grain. Faint peat.
Finish: Perfumy. Dry. Refreshing.
Comment: Crisp. Earthy. After a walk in the forest?
