Tasting Notes

Dave Broom

Taster

Nose: Lightly floral, with apple skin, lemon peel but with a dry, biscuity undertow. Good with water.

Palate: Cracked wheat, very light and is destroyed by water which splits it into its constituent parts.

Finish: Insubstantial and quite hard.

Comment: A promising nose, but doesn't deliver on the palate.

Score: 6.8

Gavin Smith

Taster

Nose: High, sweet, with a pleasing note of peaches.

Palate: Nutty and oaky.

Finish: Medium, oaky, drying to something quite astringent.

Comment: Again, an attractive nose is confounded by a lacklustre experience in the mouth.
