Delightfully flavoured. It would make a fine Old Fashioned.

Taster

Nose: Peachy foam sweets, which turn quickly to tinned peaches with fromage frais. Woody vanilla and clove notes. Pear, honey, and walnut with a little soft cheese. A hint of orange wine gum.

Palate: Full. Fresh peach and crumbled ginger sponge cake, with the warmth of stem ginger. Rich caramel and a hint of sweet popcorn. Dashes of clove and cinnamon. Hints of floral raspberry and dark chocolate.

Finish: Long, on pear and chocolate.

Comment: Delightfully flavoured. It would make a fine Old Fashioned.

Score: 8.4

Taster

Nose: White chocolate, fresh pear, cut grass, tinned peaches, fresh jackfruit, and subtle lychee. Under this, malted grains, like draff in the mash tun, and a whiff of wash. Aromatic hops and Amalfi lemon.

Palate: Full-bodied. Tart lemon and lime notes are followed by peach cordial, fresh pear, and the syrupy sweetness of candied orange. Crème pâtissière, milk chocolate sauce, fresh blackberries, and caramel.

Finish: Long. The tart fruits fade and the caramel builds.

Comment: This is outrageously moreish.
