Nose

Liquorice, orange zest, clove, a little star anise, and dark chocolate. A menthol freshness, too, like peppermint. Some fresh oak, and a grassiness that reminds me of rye.

Palate

Light-medium bodied. Light biscuity malt, like ginger snaps. Some perfumed floral notes combine with an aged meatiness, like shiitake mushroom and Bovril. Roasted peach and plum. Underneath, liquorice and star anise continue.

Finish

Medium. Sticky toffee pudding and a hint of tobacco.
