Taster
Nose: Pear, peach, almond flour, sweet balsamic, and cocoa. Blackberries and cherry sauce. A whiff of coffee cake with fudge frosting.
Palate: Medium. Tart blackcurrants, toffee, and lime juice. Some elderflower cordial, then caramel chews. Some chamomile tea and green apple. Candied orange and ginger segments. Very subtle Turkish delight.
Finish: Medium. The tart fruits fade, leaving the caramel note.
Comment: Big flavours and undeniably tasty, but needs a touch of water.

Taster
Nose: Prunes in syrup. Raw cake batter laden with currants and candied peel. Fresh red cherry. Black pepper spice, and a tiny hint of woody liquorice. Raspberry-ripple ice cream. Hints of espresso powder and milk chocolate.
Palate: Medium. Milk chocolate-coated raisin and dried cranberry. Peppery spice and a hint of mushrooms cooked in oil. Dried fig, plum, and black cherry. Espresso powder and a hint of hazelnut.
Finish: Long, on caramelised sugar and Maraschino cherry.
Comment: Bold, rich, worth savouring.
