Taster

Nose: Savoury to start, rapeseed oil, recently harvested barley fields, corn husks fresh baked biscuits, roast bell pepper and then some tropical fruits, roast pineapple, mango kulfi.

Palate: Fresh squeezed orange juice, citrus sweetness but with a bit of zip too. Then the oak spices build, gripping and finally the savouriness returns.

Finish: Oak grip and gentle spices slowly fade.

Comment: Very focused with good interplay between the spirit and wood.

Taster

Nose: Leather/chamois notes, sliced sweet potato, wet cardboard, fresh coconut,\rtinned fruit and blanched almonds, with a touch of marzipan sweetness.

Palate: A return of the marzipan on the palate, with sweet sponge cake, some juicy\rplums, nectarine and ripe vanilla.

Finish: The marzipan lingers over into the finish, coupled with a touch of drying oak.

Comment: At 19 years, this has reached a harmonious conclusion. Very good indeed.
