The spirit is still coming together. Would have been best kept in the cask for a few more years.

Tasting Notes

Taster

Nose: Light, intense. Quite tight and grassy with green grape. Still some new make character.

Palate: Light and clean with crisp sweet cereal (Frosties). Middleweight but slightly unformed.

Finish: Short.

Comment: The spirit is still coming together. Would have been best kept in the cask for a few more years.

Score: 6.8

Taster

Nose: Slightly feinty, cereal notes. 'Midget Gems'.

Palate: Quite sweet, with just a hint of oiliness. Weetabix. Perfume - lavender water? Develops, and peaches when reduced.

Finish: Satisfyingly long - the breakfast cereal lingers.

Comment: A delicate but satisfyingly complex dram. Arran has been getting better and better, perhaps this will be the optimum age.
