Taster

Nose: Oak backed with blueberry jam and cut with apple cider. Plump and scented and just a tiny hint of mustiness in the background.

Palate: Sweet and quite tongue coating. Icing sugar on stewed plums with a pleasant acidity. This cooked almost jammy effect continues across the tongue.

Finish: Long and clean.

Comment: A big Linkwood, but clearly from there.

Score: 8

Taster

Nose: Malty and fruity. Rich grassy character. Honey, dry hay, Victoria plums, ripe apricot. Summer in its glory !

Palate: Silky feel. Luscious fruity palette with fizzy ginger ale. Elegant and generous.

Finish: Dry but lingering and ending in a dovetail fruity display.

Comment: Plentiful. Uplifting. Skip the dessert and enjoy a liquid fruit basket.
