Taster

Nose: Big dark chocolate and ripe cherries. Black banana. Treacle cake, grape skins. Wine-soaked wood. Finding red wine in a glass the morning after the night before.

Palate: Stewed fruits. Marmalade. Quince jelly and mild aromatic goat’s cheese. Some tropical fruits. Hints of walnuts and blackberry jam too.

Finish: Big and then moves to some full on spices. Lemon sherbet fizzing towards the end.

Comment: Jammy, almost sticky and very moreish as well.

Taster

Nose: Parma ham and sweetness from peaches in honey, then balsamic onions, griddled peach before lily of the valley.

Palate: Upfront honeyed sweetness, then juicy nectarines and peaches then a floral note of crystallised rose petals and damsons.

Finish: Long with some mouth-watering damson fruitiness to it.

Comment: Delicate and nuanced. Sweet and lovely floral with hidden depths.
