Taster

Nose: Shy at first despite its ABV, ginger snap and Viennese dark chocolate shortbread biscuits. Digestive biscuit sandwiches with melted chocolate and toasted marshmallows.

Palate: Full of spices and fragrant floral notes, no shyness here at all. Smoked chillies.

Finish: Those spices load up to the point where they explode and vanish leaving a lovely sweet smoke.

Comment: Clearly the knitting together of some great elements. This hits you bit by bit slowly revealing all. Really enjoyable.

Taster

Nose: Oily and coastal with an intriguing mix of poached pears, key lime pie, plasters and white wine mussels. All dusted with icing sugar and an extra touch of lime zest.

Palate: Light, airy fruit notes amongst a lightly charcoal-fuelled smoke. Double cream and blackcurrant jam with peanut brittle. Joined by apple Tango and orange pith.

Finish: Very light with almonds and smooth hazelnut chocolate with the smoke continuing.

Comment: Keeping it light and breezy in the smoke department but packing some punches.
