Tasting Notes

Nose

Violin rosin, tropical fruit juice, furniture polish, orange zest oils, bergamot, cinnamon stick, and thyme. There’s some sweet biscuit notes, with blossom honey and white grape.

Palate

Medium bodied. Lovely sweet stewed apple and pear notes, with caramel-dipped peaches and cassis. Gentle tannins and then candied orange, with a touch of ginger.

Finish

Medium, with emphasis on the orange and polish notes.

Comment

A mature Speysider with an easygoing nature that belies the ABV.
