Nose
Dry and assertive with concentrated fruit, heather root smokiness and an intriguing floral note.
Palate
Bone dry start – ashes of the peat fire – then apricot/peat in middle. Seems all very crisp and dry but there's a real succulence in there.
Finish
Charred sticks then bourbon biscuits.
Comment
Lovely balance once again. Very well made.
