Palate: Crisp, tangy. As expected, oak is overwhelming. Bitter sweet chocolate. Water takes it on the bitter side.

Finish: Long, liquorice.

Taster

Nose: There is a Christmas cake note here, but then wafts of incense come through. Humidor and dried tobacco with a hint of oak too. A little minty.

Palate: Massive oak hit followed by some sweetish chocolate and burnt sugar.\rDespite this there is a freshness to it.

Finish: Long and oaked.

Comment: Takes a while to get friendly with but well worth the effort.
