Tasting Notes

Nose

Typically rich and floral for a Fettercairn of antiquity. Lush yet complex enough for primroses to abound.

Palate

Brilliantly fresh and teeming in cut grass and mouth-watering malt. A lovely butterscotch plateau.

Finish

Restrained peppers and more malt. The oak is no more than a shadow.

Comment

Outstanding for any malt this age. As fresh as a daisy and a must to experience. Fettercairn really does come into its own at 30 plus!
