A delicate nose but gets quite aggressive on the palate. Leaves a burning feel, even with water.

Nose: Citrussy. Syllabub. Lemonade. Candyfloss. Aeration brings out waves of vanilla. Bourbon cream biscuits. With water, pear drops.
Palate: Velvety, almost syrupy. Grassy, Some greenness in the taste. Tickles the tongue like a fizzy drink. Mint chocolates.
Finish: Not very long. Vanishes on dry oaky notes.
Comment: A delicate nose but gets quite aggressive on the palate. Leaves a burning feel, even with water.
Score: 7.3
Taster
Nose: Cherry Garcia. Vanilla. Marshmallow. Cherry Coke? Candy floss. Crunchy, sweet apples.
Palate: Phat. Creamy toffee. Fairly flat. Richer with water, more rounded.
Finish: Oily with some very late acidity.
Comment: Sadly, somewhat pedestrian flavours let down the promising nose.
Score: 7.5
