Nose

Herbal. Tarragon, sage and basil. Some subtle medicinal notes. Porridge with honey and clementine segments. Apples and pears roasted with lots of burnt brown sugar. Pine and tree bark.

Palate

Medium-full bodied. Intense, with ginger heat. Concentrated tropical notes of ripe pineapple and papaya, with honey-coated granola. Raisins, sultanas and dried apple pieces.

Finish

Medium-long. Tropical notes give way to caramel and tannins.

Comment

Quite complex, but the heat could do with taming.
