Nose

Like a freshly opened pack of Werther’s Originals, taking me straight back to my childhood. Lots of toffee and cream, a touch of vanilla cupcake and walnuts.

Palate

That toffee note follows through on the palate, alongside freshly burnt wood, lemon cough drops, and rosemary. Hard to believe it’s quite such a high ABV. With water, gentler certainly with that lemon kick really shining.

Finish

Fairly lengthy with an oakiness that sticks around.
