Nose: Lightly smoked kippers with a dash of lemon juice.

Palate: Smoke and spice,but with an acerbic wet wood note and olive oil.

Finish: Savoury,spicy and reasonably long.

Comment: Unusual take on a peaty theme, but it works well.

Nose: Fragrant. Herbal. Lemon balm. Lime and ginger herbal tea. Nicely prickly. A marine scent,like walking through a\rdune on a warm day.\rTouch of creosote.

Palate: Oily. Sweet at start,then a spice burst in a whiff of smoke. Minty,Refreshing. Hint of bog myrtle.

Finish: Dry, tickling, spicy. Garden mint.

Comment: Awake up dram. Fresh,vibrant,wide open on the sea horizon. Bring bacon and eggs.
