Is that a young whisky? It gives an impression of greenness and something unripe. Water is a must.

Tasting Notes

Taster

Nose: Prickly. The alcohol bite is quite sharp. Grassy then opens on cooked fruit. Greengage marmalade. Verjus\r(unripe grape juice).Distant smoky echo.

Palate: Not as tangy as on the nose. The sweet maltiness tames the alcohol until a spicy.burst attacks the tastebuds. Chili, pepper. And this verjus touch.

Finish: Spicy,quite green.

Comment: Is that a young whisky? It gives an impression of greenness and something unripe. Water is a must.

Score: 7.5

Taster

Nose: Clean, very sweet and quite floral. In time a very gentle soft fruitiness comes through:caramelised pear\rand peach.

Palate: Very forward. Lightly nutty (giving structure) then the perfumed notes of freesia and the fruit salad effect.\rChewy. Good balance.

Finish: Those fruits again. Creamy.

Comment: A lovely summery afternoon dram.
