Nose: Old oak floor. Antique shop. Varnish and a hint of burnt plastic. Touch of linseed. Nutmeg. Cooked plums. Orange marmalade. Complex.

Palate: Assertive bit with a good integration of oak. Layers of liquorice, fruit and toffee lusciously intertwining.

Finish: Oaky, bold. Walnut come back.

Comment: A muscular yet elegant old malt. Brisk and complex. Alcohol is somewhat insistent.

Palate: A soft smooth flow showing good maturity and complexity. Fine spread of flavours. Caramelised apple.
