Lots happening. Lively. Enjoyable.
Bourbon Cask, 1993

Year of Bottling
Standard (Distillery or blended)
Nose: Dryish fresh oak. Ferns. Forest flowers.
Palate: Firm, toffee, coconut.
Finish: Dry, spicy. Vanilla pod. Hint of char.
Comment: Lots happening. Lively. Enjoyable.
Nose: Peaty (smoked fish) but with some perfume (lemon, potpourri, dried heather) and softness (nut oil).
Palate: Rounded and sweet. Very sweet in fact: like cinnamon toast with demerara sugar, but there’s smoke as well – and it’s in balance.
Finish: Medicinal. Smoked fish again.
Comment: A fascinating package with unlikely flavour combinations. Barmen will love this.
