Nose
Lovely stone fruits (fresh apricot and peach) meet with plastic bags and rubber. A slick of minerality in the form of wet pebbles.
Palate
Medium bodied and chalky textured, with fresh nectarine and apricot mixing with warmer, sweeter notes of dark chocolate, candied orange, dried apricot and cinnamon.
Finish
A lick of salt and grass lifts at the end, along with chocolate and lots of apricot.
Comment
The colour of this is pretty unusual – a pale burnished copper with a pink tinge. Overall a light, fruity dram with good grip.
