The musty/butyric note exacerbated by the alcoholic bite, does not make an appealing concoction.

Nose: Butyric. Cheesy. Musty wood. Fungal touch. Not pleasant.
Palate: Dry, harsh. And the same butyric character. The alcohol is not mastered. Burning.
Finish: Warm, dry.
Comment: The musty/butyric note exacerbated by the alcoholic bite, does not make an appealing concoction.
Score: 6.5
Taster
Nose: Damp hay lofts, a little farmyard edge. Cheddar cheese. After a while a sweet malt note comes through.
Palate: A cherry like bitterness to it, then the Cheddar comes through with a sweet almost chutney edge to it.
Finish: Dries out slowly.
Comment: An intriguing whisky. Not sure if the finishing has helped to develop the whisky further.
Score: 7
