Tasting Notes

Taster

Nose: Old leather chairs, dusty church pews and incense. Dark forest honey, crystallised ginger and honey roasted cashew nuts. A very gentle herbal quality too.

Palate: Buttercup cough syrup and those dark honey tones. Orange segments in dark chocolate and toasted sunflower seeds. A creamy edge, with a little wood spice too.

Finish: Long and rich with malted barley extract and oak tannins.

Comment: A serious whisky that has a great depth of flavour and aroma. One to take your time over.

Taster

Nose: Rich and full bodied with green apple laces, cherry sorbet, nutella hot chocolate, furniture polish and barbequed gammon with peppercorn sauce.

Palate: Rubber tyres, bitter dark chocolate and chargrilled peppers. Blood orange, brandy butter, toasted oak and a slight metallic edge.

Finish: Full bodied and chewy with a rich leathery texture.

Comment: One hell of a ball buster that hits every inch of your palate.
