ABV 45.3%
A seriously lush whisky, shows some age, but those fruits balance it out.

Nose: Seriously hefty malt and wood notes hit first here, from fresh sawn oak to seasoned logs in an outhouse. Lots of stewed fruit notes follow with apples and plums leading the way. Then manuka honey from the jar.
Palate: More fruit here, moves more tropical with passionfuit, griddled pineapple and peaches. Toffee pennies too in chocolate.
Finish: Long and lush with the fruit and oak interchanging all the way until it dries.
Comment: A seriously lush whisky, shows some age, but those fruits balance it out.

Taster
Nose: Hobnob biscuits drizzled with rich salted caramel, coconut fudge, orange marmalade and kids’ strawberry toothpaste followed by undertones of barbequed bananas.
Palate: Ram packed of stewed stone fruits in syrup, sour plums, almond croissants and bursts of blueberries. There are waves of floral notes with lavender infused butter cream.
Finish: An interesting finish with complex layers of light juiciness and oily textures.
Comment: Complex variety of flavours, light and rich at the same time. A taste sensation.
Score: 8.8
