One for the sweet-toothed initially, but judicious water brings out a layer of spice too.

Nose: Big and bold, full on old fashioned sweetshop notes, cola cubes, milk bottles and flying saucers. Tinned peaches and apricot jam. A little spice lurks.
Palate: Sweetness keeps going and a little fizzy edge from the sherbet in the flying saucers. Hints of red liquorice laces and strawberry jam.
Finish: All that sweetness comes together, tinned fruit all the way with a creamy, vanilla edge.
Comment: One for the sweet-toothed initially, but judicious water brings out a layer of spice too.

Nose: Loads of tropical fruit here: pineapple, mango, green banana and lime zest, with a note of chewy sweeties – yellow Gummy Bears and Haribo rings.
Palate: Super juicy and mouth watering. More fresh tropical fruit – mango, pineapple, pink grapefruit, with a touch of oak spice, caramel and vanilla cream.
Finish: Zingy. Grapefruit pith, black pepper and sherbet as well.
Comment: Stupidly delicious. I want more.
Score: 9.4
