Nose: Like opening the kitchen door to find some lovely soul has been baking bread. Apricot jam and Vanilla icing sugar and custard and sherry laced raisins. A hint of mint and some gentle earthy notes.
Palate: Punchy at first but it gives way to a lovely malty edge. Blueberries, prunes and redcurrants. More smoke comes.
Finish: Malt extract edge and smoke lingers. Sea salt caramel notes comes through.
Comment: Moves from light to dark as you go through from the nose to the finish. Has lovely balance all the way.

Taster
Nose: Wine notes – floral and embracing. While being fruity, it has a nice caramelised sweetness to it as well. In the background lingers some mown lawns and malted barley.
Palate: Further hints of white wine come through on the palate. Drying tea tannins. A light sweet syrup comes through towards the end.
Finish: Middling length that holds the tannic tea, just on the tip of your tongue.
Comment: Easy drinking and certainly pleasant enough.
Score: 7.5
