Taster

Nose: Toasted marshmallows and roasted hazelnuts, almond-laden Turkish Delight. Apricot pastries and icing sugar mixed with lime juice. Pistachio ice cream.

Palate: Sweet with a grilled pineapple savoury edge. Candy-coated almonds, toasted hazelnuts with cinnamon and cumin.

Finish: Short with lemon bonbon sweetie sweetness, then an orange citrus tanginess hangs about pulling at the cheeks.

Comment: A lovely ball of spices and fruit, with layered sweetness. One to take a little time over.

Taster

Nose: A packet of Liquorice Allsorts, mandarin and rosemary shrub and toffee popcorn. Braised fennel and vanilla pods develop with gorse flowers and Philadelphia is there.

Palate: Rich and dense flavours of old leather, mahogany wood and dark chocolate-covered coffee beans. Strawberry toothpaste over a sticky toffee.

Finish: Menthol and fragrant tones develop towards the end creating length.

Comment: Drinking tea and eating liquorice straight after you’ve brushed your teeth. In a good way.
