Nose

Dried apricots, orange blossom honey, and wax, then some chocolate and pears. With water, the pears become grainy and baked.

Palate

Really chewy and full at this strength, with brown sugar syrup, candied orange peel, roasted pineapple, and milk chocolate with clove spice. With water, there’s a bit of a grapefruit.

Finish

Lengthy with a nice sweetness that lasts.

A rich and interesting whisky with good balance and lots going on.
