Slightly more grainy and less fruity than I remember.
16 Years Old
Standard (Distillery or blended)
Nose: Bread fresh out of the oven.
Palate: Lean, firm, grainy. Bread with dried fruits, specially candied orange peels. Welsh tea bread.
Finish: Sweet. Expressive. Orange flower water.
Comment: Slightly more grainy and less fruity than I remember.
Nose: Nutty (hazelnut) with dry bracken/heather and cereal. Water brings out grassiness, a touch of syrup and green fern.
Palate: Soft to start. Rounded with butterscotch and nutmeg. Light, dry.
Comment: Very soft. Just lacking a little grip.
