Nose

Delicate coal smoke and petrichor. Leaf mulch and dried limes. Pomegranate juice and sea air. Perhaps a whiff of Vaseline, with pear drop and white grape juice beneath.

Palate

Very light bodied. Barbeque-charred apples and pears, smoked orange segments and a little green olive. A touch of celery and chive. A little anise and the merest hint of TCP.

Finish

Medium length. The smoke dissipates, leaving a delicate medicinal aftertaste.

Comment

A refined peated whisky.
