Nose

Ginger and carrot juice. Turmeric, clove, and a little maple syrup. Herbal smoke — bay leaf, rosemary — and chicken stock cube. Plump raisins and candied orange peel in spiced fruit cake.

Palate

Light bodied. Wood smoke, moss, and a hint of charcoal. Crispy chicken skin and sweet barbecue sauce. Subtle lapsang souchong tea. Lemon peel and some nutty, biscuity notes.

Finish

Long, on mossy peat, orange cordial, and that smoky tea.
