Nose

Pear drops and Crayola crayons, then wet grass and some chewy nougat.

Palate

Palate really broadens things out — lots of fruit here in the form of kiwis, blackcurrant, and a touch of mango, before a nice bit of chilli spice.

Finish

Fruity and full, with a good balance of tannin leading to a long finish.

Comment

The palate was a surprise — a good one at that — on this whisky. Really tasty and well rounded.
