Nose

Very warming with lots of burnt sugar and custard, then oranges and a bit of tinned fruit cocktail.

Palate

Wow, that fruit bursts through on the palate: it’s all glacé cherries, pineapple, watermelon candies and strawberries alongside cream and a nutty spice.

Finish

Given the ABV, the spiciness is not too much. Pleasantly lingering.

Comment

This is a remarkably approchable whisky given how strong it is. Lots of fruit and vibrancy.
