A delicate malt, but with some complexity.
10 Years Old
Standard (Distillery or blended)
Nose: Leafy. Flowery. Buttercups. Lemony.
Palate: Silky-smooth. Lightly buttery. Light cobnut. Developing a hint of wineyness.
Finish: Decidedly spicy (vanilla pods?).
Comment: A delicate malt, but with some complexity.
Nose: Light and airy with a simple, untaxing maltiness. A few orange notes add a thin extra dimension.
Palate: Lusciously sweet at first then a chewy toffee depth.
Finish: Light oak and rich malt persist.
Comment: A pleasant malt but missing the old trade mark creaminess.
