Tullibardine

A rich character which does not seem to allow the sauternes cask leave its sweet print. It shows through with water however. Broad, complex and enjoyable.

Taster

Nose: Resiny. Rich. Complex. Exotic spices. Nutmeg, long peppercorn. Opens on luscious dessert notes. Plum pudding.

Palate: Crisp, lively. A burst of spices sweeps away cooked plums and raisins. Chocolate but as the Aztec would drink it: mixed with chilli.

Finish: Dry, long. Liquorice.

Comment: A rich character which does not seem to allow the sauternes cask leave its sweet print. It shows through with water however. Broad, complex and enjoyable.

Score: 8

Taster

Nose: Lush and rich.Has faint incense notes with a little Christmas cake as well.

Palate: Loads of dark chocolate and dried fruit come through. Hints of sweetness lurk as do spices.

Finish: Dries leaving that spiced note.

Comment: Great for a dessert whisky especially with a dark chocolate pudding. Sauternes is still here but not that dominant.
