Nose

Enchanting, ginger, a little citrus peel, freshly ground malted barley finishing on lovely mowed hay notes.

Palate

Great balance, fruit and spice. Honey, faint butterscotch, raisins moving into spicy orange with a discreet hint of air dried wood.

Finish

Dry, no astringency which is appetising. Medium length, lush fading vanilla.

Comment

Enjoyable dram, enjoyed it much more once it opened up and with no water. Well balanced and thoroughly enjoyable.
