Nose: Malty, chestnut flour, muesli. A leafy note. A lovely bouquet of late summer outdoor fragrances. Touch of crème caramel.
Palate: Beautifully rounded and silky. The cereal notes mingle with marzipan and vanilla. Rewarding and refreshing.
Finish: Dry, leafy. Quite short.
Comment: A lovely dram. Fresh, natural, cheery. The perfect companion for a cheese party. Preferably undiluted.
Nose: Linseed, Brazil nut and extra-virgin olive oil overture, spicy oak emerges with a hint of crème caramel peeping through.
Palate: Laid back and opens slowly to deliver nutty, spicy, dried fruit, chocolate and crème caramel nuances, quite tightly knit, before an oakey garnish joins in.
Finish: Creamy, fruity maltiness.
Comment: Team work results in glimpses of different flavours rather than individual close ups.
